Internationally acclaimed blacksmith and designer Patrick Cardine began his craft in 1982 after serving an 8 year apprenticeship with masters in Germany, England, France and Switzerland. Upon returning to Virginia, Cardine Founded Cardine Studios in 1991 and became one of the most renowned blacksmiths and designers in the United States. His work can be seen in the Ritz Towers, The Mellon Estate, Cartier NYC Flagship, The Washington National Cathedral, Aquila Yacht (currently the largest personal superyacht built in America), Tommy Hilfiger Beverly Hills Flagship, George Washington University and many more select properties across the United States.
When stepping through the doors of Cardine Studios one might forget the 21st century is just outside. The studio is rustic by nature, nestled in the foothills of the great Blue Ridge Mountains. With wood, fire, metal, and water, master artisans toil over anvils, manipulating glowing red metal into beautiful geometry.
